HOW TO CLAIM KERALA LOTTERY PRIZE

Price above 1 lakh

The Kerala state lottery winner must submit the winning ticket and supporting documents to the Director of State Lotteries or a nationalized scheduled bank within 30 days of the draw date.

Price above 5 thousand & less than 1 lakh

The prize winner must submit the winning ticket to the District Lottery Officer within 30 days of the draw.

Price less than 5 thousand

Winners can choose to collect their prize money in person from the lottery agency.

Documents Required

1. Claim application form: This form is provided by the lottery agency and must be filled out completely by the winner. It includes information about the winner, the winning ticket, and the prize amount.

2. Photocopy of the winning ticket: The winner must provide a photocopy of the winning ticket, self-attested on both sides. This means that the winner must sign their name on the photocopy.

3. Passport-sized photographs: The winner must provide two passport-sized photographs of themselves. The photographs must be attested by a Gazetted Officer or Notary. This means that the officer or notary must sign and stamp the photographs to verify their authenticity.

4. Prize money receipt: The winner will receive a prize money receipt from the lottery agency. This receipt must be affixed with a revenue stamp. Revenue stamps are available for purchase at post offices and other government offices.

5. Self-attested copy of the PAN card: The PAN card is a permanent account number issued by the Income Tax Department of India. The winner must provide a self-attested copy of their PAN card.

6. Attested proof of identity: The winner must provide an attested proof of identity. This can be a Ration Card, Driving License, Passport, or Election ID Card. The proof of identity must be attested by a Gazetted Officer or Notary.
